Lion Cubs provides an opportunity for babies, toddlers and their parents or carers to meet during term time. The children enjoy playing with the toys, bible story time, refreshments and simple crafts.
Once a month a health visitor from the NHS attends giving the opportunity for parents to have the necessary routine checks for the growth and health of their babies.
The weekly activities are organised by members of The Lees while parents/carers supervise their own children.
Lion Cubs is held every Monday morning in term time at The Lees Chapel from 10.30 to 12.15.
An opportunity for primary school age children (reception to Year 6) to enjoy fun time together in a safe, supervised environment.
Activities include games, craft and Bible times.
All activities are organised by members of The Lees Chapel and all supervisors are fully approved via the DBS criminal checking process.
Whizz Kids is held most Friday evenings during term time at The Lees Chapel from 5:00 to 6:15.
Children and babies have special activities prepared for them as part of our Sunday morning programme. After 20 to 25 minutes they are invited to leave the main service so that they can participate in Explorers. Explorers is a group for both pre-school and primary school age children in which they are encouraged to ‘explore’ what it means to be disciples of Christ, as they listen to stories from the Bible, play games and participate in a variety of activities that are put on and overseen by the leaders of the group.
Holiday Bible Club
A fun-filled week of games, wacky challenges, Bible stories and craft during the summer holidays for primary school children (or those starting school in September).
Daily activities for the children take place from 10.30am to 12.45pm each day, Monday-Friday.
