The Lees Lunch Club
Held on occasional Fridays here at The Lees Chapel, this is a time where those aged 60 or over can get together to enjoy a set lunch, a time to chat, a time to make new friends or a time with old friends. We also try to include a short quiz before our meal (no prizes unfortunately).
Tea or coffee is served after the dessert and this is followed by a short talk.
Generally held between 12 noon to 2 pm. Actual dates will appear on this website or you may receive a personal invitation.

The Lees on the Seas - Friday 26 August 2011 - 10:30 - 15:30.
On Friday 26 August we had a special event for Seniors, a 'holiday at home' from 10:30am to 3:30pm. The Chapel was transformed into a Cruise ship (some imagination was required!!) and we were transported to far-away Greece (more imagination required!) for a day of relaxation and fun.
Activities and entertainment took place with plentiful tea and coffee throughout the day as well as a 2-course lunch and afternoon tea and cake.
Initial reports show no-one fell overboard or suffered from sea sickness and the lifeboats were not needed. The Purser and his staff are now looking forward to the next cruise.
